GREGG MANN has been working in the independent film community as a director and editor for the last 10 years. He has been providing publicity photography for major labels and artists since 1998: Universal Records, MCA records, The Apollo Theater (The Hall of Fame Board of Directors portraits), Hotel De Gerstekorrel (Amsterdam, Holland), Ray Chew, David Banner, Lil Wayne, Raekwon, Lil Mo, Keziah Jones and Elite models. With more than 25 years of experience in major recording studios and concert halls across America and Europe he brings a high level of professionalism to all his endeavors. Gregg Mann has been mixing Front of House at the Apollo Theater since 1985. He has toured as audio engineer with Alicia Keys, John Legend, Gladys Knight, Erika Badu, Angie Stone. He recorded and mixed Sean « Puffy » Combs, Bad Boy Records, LL Cool J, Heavy D & The Boyz, Brand Nubian, Dallas Austin for D.A.R.P., Black Sheep, Ce Ce Peniston, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gloria Gaynor, Jodeci, Kelis and Keziah Jones and Ornette Coleman’s last 3 albums Tone Dialing, Sound Museum and the Pulitzer Prize winning Sound Grammar In addition Gregg Mann has been A1 on air mixer for MTV, Showtime at the Apollo, BET 106 and Park, Rap City and the Source Magazine Awards.
LIZA MANN is a Swiss filmmaker/producer who lives and works in New York City. She has production credits on feature films, reality TV, music videos, commercials and web series. She has also been working as an assistant director in the US, France and Switzerland for a decade.Her latest collaborations include magician David Blaine, Emmy Award winning director Matthew Akers and Emmy Nominated producer Lawrence P. Scott. She is the co-founder of Iconoclash Studios. Liza is the author of the book: "Ce que Parler Veut Dire: Regard Critique sur les Procedes d'Enonciation dans les Films Ethnographiques"(2011), a critical study of narration in ethnographic films. She teaches video production & editing workshops for the Apollo Theater and for the New York City Department of Education. She has a Master's Degree in Ethnology from the University of Neufchatel (Switzerland), and Master's Degree in French Literature from The University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and she attended PhD Trainings in Visual Anthropology at the EHESS in Paris.
